DeShaun Watson

Dr Chao Friday – Big-Time QBs Banged Up, but Should Play

A look at key injuries pertaining to your fantasy needs for Week 9:

QB

Cam Newton’s shoulder is fine and should be no issue.

Aaron Rodgers is essentially 100% and may even lose the brace.

Ben Roethlisberger fractured and index finger but since it is on his non-throwing hand, it should be a minimal to non-issue.

TNF Preview – Tough Calls at QB

Miami at Houston

Spread: Texans -7.5

When Miami Has The Ball:

Brock Osweiler will once again be leading this offense. Obviously, the Texans are very familiar with Osweiler and should do a great job of getting him out of his comfort zone. Osweiler will be without Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson, but DeVante Parker will play and should be looking to showcase his abilities to the other 31 teams prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline.

Monday Morning MD — Solution for Thursday Games

With so many injuries, do Thursday games make sense?

As we approach the middle of the season and injuries mount, is it fair to ask players to make the short turnaround for a mid-week contest? There is no statistical increase of injuries for a Thursday game but clearly it is harder to recover and tough on the body.

I will take this chance to reiterate my plan first introduced more than three years ago to add a second bye week.
