New England at Buffalo
Spread: Patriots -14.5
When New England Has The Ball:
Sony Michel won’t play, so it is hard to say who will inherit the short yardage duties and traditional carries. James White has been a huge part of this offense with or without Michel in the lineup and is set up for another blow up situation in Buffalo no matter how this backfield plays out. Only Saquon Barkley has more targets, receptions or receiving yards at this position than White, who is also being used an awful lot in the red zone. Kenyon Barner will spell White, but isn’t a power runner. That being said, the Bills defense is actually quite good from front to back with very athletic and active linebackers. The problem for Buffalo in this matchup is that the other side of the ball is highly unlikely to sustain offense. Including White, Tom Brady now has an excellent group of pass catchers to distribute the ball to in all areas of the field.
