Clayton Friday – O-line Injuries Piling Up

Injury attrition along the offensive line is becoming a troubling trend.

The Chicago Bears ruled out guard Erik Kush with a neck injury. For the second straight week, the Baltimore Ravens will be without James Hurst and Alex Lewis. New York Jets center Spencer Long is questionable with a knee injury and nagging finger problem. Cleveland Browns center J.C. Tretter is questionable with an ankle injury.

If Long and Tretter can’t play, only three teams survived the first eight weeks of the season with all of their offensive starters healthy enough to play every start; just three.
