Thomas Davis’ Return to Carolina Panthers Highlights This Week’s Transaction Moves

One of the things we will get into on Clayton Football is to dig into the transactions, whether it’s in-season or in the offseason.

Tuesday and Wednesday are the usual roster transaction days during the season. This week in general is going to be an interesting one because 11 players are coming off the four-game suspension list. Linebacker Thomas Davis of the Carolina Panthers comes off next year. The Panthers had a bye Sunday.

The Lions also happen to face the most difficult pass defenses and the Texans face the most difficult run defenses. What approach for fantasy should we take with these three teams?

The Chicago Bears sit alone atop the NFC North at 3-1 after dismantling Tampa Bay by 38 points in Week 4. Only the Ravens and Rams currently have a better overall point differential than Chicago and only the Browns have a better turnover differential. We all saw this coming, right? Is it for real?

Well, after a very active offseason, many were picking Chicago to be a surprise team. Many, in fact, took it a step farther by saying that this team is the 2018 version of last year’s Rams.
